Coronavirus (COVID-19)

March 17, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 situation and Government advice we are having to instigate a few changes to our normal procedures; in order to minimise the impact on the health & welfare of our clients and the team, whilst continuing to provide our services, we are temporarily reducing clinic opening hours.

UPDATE 13/07/2020 – We are increasing our opening hours on a Tuesday and Thursday to 9.00am – 6.00pm.  Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday will remain 9.00am – 12.30pm.

We would ask that you are open and honest with us regarding your health status when you initially make contact so that we can plan accordingly.  If you are self-isolating or have been in contact with anyone who is self-isolating / confirmed positive we ask that you do not attend appointments / collect prescriptions or food. Should you be self-isolating and require repeat prescriptions / advice please contact the surgery so that arrangements can be made.

Updated guidance 30/05/2020 – we are observing social distancing by not having people in the building. We are asking that birds are brought in secure carriers and placed by the front door once we have acknowledged your arrival. Consultations are being done over the telephone or in the car park during fine weather! We have marked 2m from the door to help maintain appropriate distancing. In accordance with guidance from the RCVS & BVA we are making individual case assessments initially over the telephone and then arranging appointments if required.

The Boarding Room will remain closed until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated as the situation progresses.

We hope all our clients and their families are in good health and thank you for your continued support in these challenging times, Richard & Carli x
